My passion for barbering all started watching my mom as a cosmetologist. When I was a child, she or my father would cut my hair. At age 12 my mom put me in a military program, which required me to shave my head. So she bought the clippers, and that was my first taste of barbering. When the program ended, I would continue to use the clippers to line myself up because my mother refused to.
My friends in high school noticed me cutting my hair and of course wanted me to cut theirs. It felt good making money at a young age. So, I decided this is what I wanted to do! As I climbed higher up the ladder into more established shops, I worked hard to get my skills up to par. Now as a seasoned, confident barber I’m ready to show my skills to a broader audience.
